Limapulo: Baba Can Cook is well-known for serving one of the best Nyonya Laksa in KL. As a Nyonya Laksa fan it’s only natural I would want to give it a try.
Located at the The Row, the interior of Limapulo is a wonderland for Instagram enthusiasts and food bloggers, as it’s dotted with plenty of old school and hypsterish knick knacks, furniture and posters.

Nyonya Laksa
Laksa Nyonya is the signature spicy noodle soup of the Nyonyas in Malacca – a distinctive blend of regional Chinese and Malay cuisine. Laksa comes in many forms throughout Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. In Malacca, is it made with a rich, spicy, slightly sweet coconut broth.
What country is famous for laksa?
While laksa is mostly associated with Malaysia and Singapore, it is also popular in Indonesia and southern Thailand. Laksa is a wildly popular dish, and some people have strong opinions on the best way to prepare it, the tastiest variety, and crucially – where it came from
So Which laksa is the best?
Penang Assam Laksa Served with rice noodles, it is often served with herbs and garnishes such as pineapples, shredded cucumber, red chillies and mint. Penang Assam Laksa remains one of Penang's famous delicacies.
Chicken Satay
How would you describe satay?
Resembling a kebab, these grilled meat skewers trace their origins to Arabian culture, but have since evolved into a unique dish. Bamboo skewers are used instead of metal ones, and satay is commonly served with a variety of dipping sauces. Chicken, beef and mutton are the most common meats employed in this dish.

What is chicken satay made of?
Sate Ayam (chicken satay) of Indonesia is prepared from chicken marinated in a mixture of coriander, turmeric, lemongrass, garlic, fresh ginger, salt, and pepper combined with an Indonesian sweet soy sauce (kecap manis).
